Following the demise of his previous musical incarnation and adopting the Holiday Oscar nom de plume, guitarist Charlie has embarked on a new journey.

Displaying an uncanny knack of writing topical, somewhat tongue-in cheek lyrics he has created an intriguing catalogue of tracks that have already picked plenty of love from blogs and Spotify.

Gareth had a chat with Charlie on Sunday morning just before his performance on the BBC Introducing stage.
