Frontline’s CAFÉ ART Exhibition is back at Brentwood Library

Frontline’s CAFÉ ART Exhibition is back at Brentwood Library for the fifth year.

The Exhibition started with a Launch party, which was a great success with friends and family coming to view the art works and participants received certificates for all their accomplishments.

The concept of the CAFÉ ART group is to give the opportunity to participants to enjoy the art-making process. It is a sensory exercise aimed at promoting motor and visual stimulation. It is about being able to create individually or with the interaction and assistance from a support worker.

Artist Charlotte Trower, who delivers the art sessions at Frontlines CAFÉ ART, along with amazing volunteers and support from Support workers. welcome people with a learning disability or any ability to create art. Participants are able to create artworks through techniques such as collage, mixed media, mixing colours, drawing and painting.

Café Art this year has also been apart of the Brentwood Art Trial and was featured in the Chicken and Frog bookshop, Which was a great success.

Tammy Henry, Frontline’s Manager, said, “These pieces of Art deserved to be seen by the world”. This exhibition provides more than beautiful artwork it gives the artists confidence, knowing that others are enjoying their art.

The exhibition is on until the 31st of August 2025 at the Brentwood Library during its open hours. It’s a FREE event and most artworks are for sale, the proceeds from these sales will go to the Artists and Frontline.
