A very busy show this week, with football taking centre stage as the professional and semi-professional men’s game in England is now fully up and running  for the 2025/26 season, with the exception of the Premier League which returns next weekend.

We had two featured games on the show – one from Sky Bet League One, where Leyton Orient bounced back from a disappointing 3-0 defeat at Huddersfield Town on the opening day of their campaign with a 1-0 win against WIgan Athletic in the first home match of the season.

We also heard how Billericay Town made a successful start to their new Isthmian Premier League campaign, with a 2-1 victory over Wingate & Finchley at New Lodge.
