ABOUT THE THINKERS
The Thinkers formation was in October 2022. They may be collectively new, but Troy and Anthony are not new to the Philippine local underground scene. Troy was the founder and former
frontman of Suicidal Genius from 2005 to 2017; he went solo but went back to officially form The Thinkers as a duo for good. Anthony, on the other hand, has been part of the music industry
since 2006 and started playing with his band in Quezon Province as the drummer. He became active in the music scene in the latter part of 2012.
Their genre is direct, simple, but rock, which is somewhat similar to the bandwagon of the 1990s. Sounding something similar to and influenced by Nirvana and Smashing Pumpkins. A handful of comments they’ve been getting is that they somewhat have a bit of The Black Keys.
The singles “Come to Me” and “Let’s Go!” were released in 2023, followed by the recent release of “Coffee Song” on June 9, 2024. Despite not being included in major
playlists, these three tracks have achieved strong traction, demonstrating their growing popularity. The Thinkers remain active in the local scene with live performances, radio and television
appearances, particularly in Metro Manila.

global promotion highlights the artist’s commitment to broadening their international presence while continuing to engage audiences worldwide.
