The O’s come into this tie at Brisbane Road on their best run of form all season, with four consecutive wins. Meanwhile managerless Burton have only one win in eight away from home this campaign.
17) The opening 15 minutes of the first half produced very little quality from both teams. However Burton thought they took the lead but Orient’s backline played a nice line which saw Burell fail to beat the offside trap 0-0.
HT 0-0 Very little to report on from the first half with both teams showing very little quality in the final third. The Orient faithful have been left frustrated at times with the slow build up play. The O’s have been very passive whilst patiently waiting for openings they just can’t seem to find.
52) Donley fires a snap shot on target from inside the area which is tipped over for a corner by Crocombe, the resulting corner is met well by Brown who should have scored with his head from close range.
58) Orient break on the counter from an Albion free kick, Donley is played through towards goal by O’neil and is subsequently dragged down by Giligan who receives the first yellow card of the match.
62) Josh Keeley is tested for the first time in the game as he makes a quickfire reflex save from a Bennett header.
67) The O’s make a double switch in an attempt to impact their attacking play with Kelman & Galbraith replacing James & Perkins.
75) A triple sub for the O’s as Jaiysimi, Currie and Pratley enter the pitch to replace O’neil, Sweeney and Brown.
76) Dom Ball is booked for a late foul on Godwin-Malife.
82) A great chance for the O’s, a corner is swung into the box which finds its way to who struck Ball from inside the area with the ball destined for goal it takes a deflection off of Orsi to prevent Orient from taking the lead.
86) It’s all pressure from the O’s at this point in the game. A currie throw-in towards the box causes disruption when an Albion defender heads backwards towards his own goal with the ball bouncing off the top of the bar for a corner.
There will be a minimum of 6 minutes added time to be played.
Full Time and it ends 0-0 with neither team able to break the deadlock.
