In the first round of the FA Trophy, Brentwood Town were involved in a seven goal thriller which ended in their favour, as they beat Cray Valley Paper Mills 4-3 to go through to the next stage.

And there was a great win for Hornchurch in the National League South, who improved their position in the table with a 2-1 win at home to promotion chasing Torquay United.
