On Wednesday 12th June, the very first broadcast of Wednesday Words & Music with Emma Marns launched on Phoenix 98 FM! My show is a lovely teatime mix of music, book and arts news, book reviews and interviews with some lovely, ‘book-ish’ guests. I’ll be in your ears every Wednesday at 6pm for an hour.
My background is in literature as a journalist and author, and an amateur flautist and singer. Although I’ve appeared on the radio multiple times before on the other side of the mic, this is my first experience running the desk and being in charge, and it’s incredibly exciting.
