On a very special edition of “Reggae Revival”, I am joined by Tony Gad, one of the original members of the legendary UK reggae band Aswad. We talk about the upcoming 50th anniversary of the band’s formation and play tracks from their new album “Live in London”. I have been following Aswad since 1980, so this was a big moment for me personally and wow, Tony did not disappoint. Stories about Bob Marley, the early reggae scene in London and how the band honed its craft by playing live. It’s a great wander down memory lane accompanied by a soundtrack from all those wonderful days. Enjoy.
