Hello world, the phrase uttered at the Music charity concert of the 1980’s if not all time- LIVE AID. Which celebrated its 40th anniversary over the weekend just gone and I had to try a little rewatch. It did remind me of the technical and organisational marvel of time, to stage such a thing, of course never to be repeated or come close, in good ways and some sad ways. It also reminded me of a few ‘teen brain’ sulks I had back then- like when Nik Kershaw only did one song and SADE did a set, sulky things as petty as that, now as an adult it makes sense for such a mammoth event.
