Synth City: Return and goodbye – July 8th 2025

🔥 PHOENIX PLAYER V2 🔥
Return and goodbye - July 8th 2025 >>
Synth City — Rob Harvey
New music this week came from Bending Grid and Power Rob - enter.me - Jay Cee - MELO - Maxx Silver - Split Vision - Sunking - Alenis, as well as a new remix from Vogon Poetry & SCALA and loads more fine music.

SC8

The weekend just gone seems to be one of mixed music emotions for many fans, as we had the long lamented return gigs of Oasis, bringing us back the 1990’s feel of loutish Mancunian Beatles wannabes pop lark. Then there was the big inevitable but still sad farewell rock legends gig from Black Sabbath & Ozzy Osborne – granted neither of those bands are technically the music types for this shows target audience. Both have in a way, lit up the creative pathways of musical influences over the years for many, in some ways are often somewhere in the weeks music aired on this show.
On my Chatbit, I spoke about those fiddly tasks which seem simple but are not, Like me trying to swap out batteries in watches and changing headphones ear pads- which I found impossible to do. What tasks had an equal awkwardness that you had to get someone else to do it for you? or are you a master of everything you try?

A good return of music this week, going from Bending Grid and Power Rob – enter.me – Jay Cee – MELO – Maxx Silver – Split Vision – Sunking – Alenis, as well as a new remix from Vogon Poetry & SCALA and loads more delightful tunes for your ears.
