The mighty O’s return to league action this evening as they look to get the bettering of league one newbies Mansfield Town. If Orient were to win and both Charlton and Reading were to fail to pick up points this evening, the reds would find themselves back in the play-off places.

5 mins – Azeem Abdulai with the first shot of the game which is well saved at the near post by the Mansfield goalie. Orient corner to follow…

GOAL – Jordan Brown! A great flick at the front post beats the keeper and Orient are one up!

16 mins – GOAL! Randell Williams is played in by Edmonds-Greenn after a fantastic tackle by the centre half, Williams runs at the Mansfield defence unchallenged and strikes a powerful left-footed shot into the bottom corner. 2-0 Orient!

20 mins – Orient nearly have a third but Bowery does well to intercept Dilan Markanday’s cross.

24 mins – A beautiful passing move from the O’s finds Randall on the left wing and he puts in a fantastic cross but no one is there to tap home!

27 mins – Mansfield’s first shot of the game is well saved by Keeley down to his left. After Mansfield play a good set piece down the left wing and cut back the cross to get a well struck shot away.

31 mins – GOAL! A sensational gliding run from Galbraith as he skips past a couple of challenge’s through the middle of the park and hits a great left footed finished into the bottom corner! His weak foot may I add. 3-0 O’s.

33 mins –  A great block from Pratley denies Mansfield the chance to get a shot on target.

35 mins – The Mansfield left winger cuts in on his right and strikes a shot at goal but it is easily handled by Keeley.

37 mins – Azeem Abdubai has his long-range shot well held by Christy Pym in the Mansfield net.

43 mins – Galbraith picks out Azeem with a sensational pass. However, Abdulai’s touch lets him down.

57 mins – Orient have had a lot of the ball and with good work from Jack Currie the O’s earn a corner which is cleared well by Mansfield.

59 mins – The Mansfield goalie pulls off a great save to deny Abdulai scoring a rocket shot of a volley.

62 mins – Keeley keeps out a Mansfield free-kick well and then palms out the rebound for a throw-in.

73 mins – Williams does really well down the right and plays in Kelman who’s snapshot from a tight angle just goes wide.

84 mins – Great defensive work from Dom Ball as he nicks the ball off of Mansfield’s no.11 who looked to be away.

87 mins – Ethan Galbraith twists and turns his man and is then bought down inside his own half. Ethan Galbraith has been nothing short of sensational this evening.
