The first Phoenix Sport of 2025 saw some sporting action called off due to the the wintry weather conditions, but thanks to the 4G pitch at their New Lodge home Billericay Town were still able to stage their Isthmian Premier League match against Potters Bar Town, which was our featured football match on the show.
An early Tommy Davis goal gave Gary McCann’s men a 1-0 victory, which saw them remain in second place as league leaders Dover Athletic won their match away to Hendon by three goals to nil.
